So, Betty Bean the former Knoxville Journal, former Metro Pulser and current stringer for the Shopper News Publisher Sandra Clark went to the liberal playground and accused me of bias reporting because one of three Second District School Board Candidates has not advertised with BrianHornback.Com so far this election. Check her comment in the thread here before she deletes it. Never fear her comment is below, before she deletes(d) it.
Over the years, I have learned that people that believe such motives are guilty of the same themselves. Like how she is now buddy buddy with the Publisher of a competing weekly to E.W. Scripps Shopper, a person that was NEVER a fan of her or the Shopper Publisher Sandra Clark. In fact he said that when he began the Focus that when they say tomato he would say tomato, when they say potato, he would say potato obviously pronounced slightly differently.
Just last week on FM 94.3’s “The Rude Awakening”, the gaseous one compared the Publisher of the Ftn. City Focus to being a peer of the Haslam. That was truly a LOL (hey Craig Fitzhugh, that means laugh out loud). I am not saying he isn’t ok in his financial condition, he just ain’t on peer status with the youngest Haslam. When I say youngest, I mean Will’s infant son (Governor Bill’s grandson).
Now how interesting is it that the Focus which hits the street in the morning, online tonight has the Publisher ranting about West Knoxvillians, Chamber folks aka the Haslam family supporting one candidate while he boast of another candidate with the confused former County Commissioner Tony Norman photographed with her on the cover of the paper.
The candidate that the Publisher boast of is the only Second District School Board Candidate to advertise in the Focus. Is that the same bias that the gaseous one accused me of? Interesting that the Haslam family business Pilot Travel Centers allowed the Focus to place their free propaganda in their stores. But, now it isn’t cool that the “Chamber people” aka Haslam family contribute to a candidate for school board. Hypocrisy?
As I describe myself to people, I am loyal to a fault. Had the Haslam family supported me (which they haven’t) I wouldn’t bite the hand today that helped feed me start yesterday. But I am old school, not like the gaseous one and the Publisher of the Focus.
