Sources have told me that Trustee Shouse is making progress on running a leaner, more productive office. It seems that Supervisor Claudia Loy will retire in the next couple of weeks and employee Knox Williams has apparently turned in his two week notice. Trustee Shouse has apparently delegated Loy’s responsibilities to a current employee and it is not expected that Williams will be replaced in that his duties can simply be absorbed to others in the office. There is some speculation whether Williams will stay in the bearuecrat business, possibly going to the Property Assessors office, if he will leave government and return to the private sector. Williams once owned a mattress store business in Halls.
