Knox County Republican Party Chairman Buddy Burkhardt and First Vice Chair Suzanne Dewar were at Thursday nights Concord Farragut Republican Club. Chairman Burkhardt explained said that the new Knox County Democrat Chair when he was selected stole Burkhardt’s play book. The Democrat Chair said everything that Burkhardt had said on March 7 when he was elected. The Democrat Chair was elected in late March.
The Knox County Republican Party has secured several website urls and a newly redesigned website is on it’s way. However, the most immediately former url is no longer available to the party. Lesson learned, I guess. When Burkhardt took over there were less than 280 people that liked the parties Facebook page. With Burkhardt and Dewar at the helm, all upcoming events will be listed on the Facebook page. So, go give it a like. As a Former Chairman, I liked it this morning and was #312. There are reasons, primarily a legal action where I am a defendent that I didn’t like it for the past two years. Yes, that law suit is still slowly moving through the courts, not because my counsel hasn’t been vigorously trying to get the hearing. He has and he is. The roster books are being prepared and any activist, business, organization with Republican leanings can purchase an ad. Chairman Burkhardt even said at the Concord Farragut meeting in front of everyone that BrianHornback.Com can purchase an ad. I said that any ad I place in the book will make reference to our Ruth less party.
