A group of Crockett County Republicans have joined together expressing our loss of confidnece in State Election Commissioner Jimmy Wallace and the three Republican election commissioners that Wallace recently appointed to the Crockett County Election Commission. They are asking for Wallace’s resignation and they ask the State Election Commission to remove and replace the current Republican members of the Crockett County Election Commission.
The letter is signed by four former Crockett County Republican Party chairman as well as the current vice-chair; all three Republican nominees for county office last year and other active party members. I would say that it appears that Wallace got himself into a Crock pot of stew, but that would just be too clever.
