Sources close to Norwood Elementary School indicate a threat was received today. You say no big deal, schools closed. Right? Well no, there is summer programming going on, provided by the Boys and Girls Club of the TN Valley. The children are safe, additional staff and security personnel remain on site today.
Parents were not prohibited from picking their children up, however, the building and program continues until 6 p.m. tonight.
