Former Knoxville Political Operative Facing Four Years

Former Knoxville political operative Tyler Harber who was under the employment of Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale between 2002 and 2005 is facing four years in a Federal lockup. The KnoxNews story is here (just be sure you have the coin or card number to jump the paywall)

Harber’s last Knoxville campaign management gig was the failed 2004 State Senate campaign of lawyer Billy Stokes. State Representative Jamie Hagood Woodson bested the Knoxville Lawyer and Former Aide to Governor Don Sundquist in the August 5, 2004 Republican Primary.

  • Billy J. Stokes: 5,087

Hagood went on to be elected State Senator in the November 2, 2004 General Election

Harber left Knoxville after a dust-up between former Knox County Republican Chairman, Knoxville Attorney Chadwick B Tindell. Harber came into possession of emails that Tindell had sent, Tindell alleged a hacking, sources close to Harber indicate that Tindell at one time had given Harber his password.

Anyhoo, Harber ventured off and made his way the past decade in Washington, DC and was successful. He was regularly featured on FoxNews. With campaign management and the dollars of super pacs, it seems the feds got to looking into it and found that laws were violated. So, Harber must face the consequences for his actions.
