A statement keeps being sounded that Gibbs and Hardin Valley got middle schools because they supported Mayor Timothy Floyd Burchett. Our tax dollars should not be meted out to politically popular communities that voted for a politican. Projects should be built on an as needed basis. The reason is because we end up with the likes of east knoxville and south knox counties and that isn’t fair or the right thing to do that.
