With this Georgiana Vines story today, State Senator Rick Briggs is endorsing Jason Zachary‘s opponent. Zachary’s opponent doesn’t in reside in the Briggs State Senate District. Of course, there is that pesky little residency issue that Briggs may not live in his own district.
Again, a vote for Zachary’s opponent fundamentally reverses the representation of Former State Representative Ryan Haynes. Zachary’s opponent will vote for Insure Tennessee, while Haynes voted to oppose it. Zcahary’s opponent has proposed millions and millions of additional funds for k-12 while on the Knox County School Board, translation means that she will vote for more revenue not less. Haynes reduced the Hall Income Tax, Zachary’s opponent likely would desire to keep that revenue.
With regard to the host list of Zachary’s opponents high dollar fundraiser this week. There are 22 names (some with spouses, some without) the 23rd name is Richard Briggs, however, his wife Stephanie is NOT listed. Of the 23 names , 4 of the names reside in State Representative Martin Daniels district, two reside in State Representative Eddie Smith’s district and one is in State Representative Bill Dunn’s district. 7 of the individuals either are currently employed, have been employed with the school district. 1 was employed with the Great Schools Partnership, a quasi school district entity.
A review of the school district board policy may reveal that one person on the host list is in violation for their political involvement. More on that one later.
His wife Stephanie does NOT live in the district. But of course, neither does Briggs. Wonder what that water bill is like now?
Millionaire Doctor, State Senator, and Karen Carson supporter rips off taxpayers:

That’s the Rino way.
While support for Insure Tn and Obamacare do constitute a ripoff of taxpayers, using the expense account is not a ripoff of taxpayers. If we want to defeat these two, then argue where you argument is strong.
Briggs riding the expense account is a total flip flop of the Senator. He self funded his commission run and much of the senate race. However, nickle and diming the taxpayers is a total flip flop of what the taxpayers bought when they purchased the Senator for their representative.
