Roane County Commissioner Greg Ferguson was arrested and the media reported that he was arrested for DUI. Well today the worm has turned. The charge has been tossed, because the TBI’s Blood Alocohol Content test revealed that Ferguson was not driving under the influence at or over the illegal limit.
The BAC level for Ferguson was .06 the level to be arrested for a DUI is .08, the real question is why does it take the TN Bureau of Investigation five months to return the blood alcohol content on an accused? There are private sector lab result shops all over town, but it takes a state agency five months.
