An outside the Deathstar aka City County Building source has reported that the Knox County Property Assessor sent the list of the 2017 reappraisal figures to the Knox County Trustee. This resulted in property owners getting tax notices with their 2017 assessment, resulting in people believing Knox County has raised their taxes.
As a reminder, everyone should get online here and check their property. Many people are discovering that their property attributes are not accurate. The square footage, the acreage, the characteristics of their dwellings.
