Jim Boyer was a Republican. He served in the TN General Assembly after my friend Jimmy Kyle Davis stepped down. Boyer was replaced by State Representative Harry Brooks. This is the same seat that my political mentor Loy Smith served before Davis. So, Boyer was one of four men that have served the East Knox County area with distinction
Boyer left this earth on Thursday and was immediately present with our Father in Heaven. (2 Corinthians 5:8) Please remember Sue and the boys in your thoughts and prayers. Jim will be laid to rest on Monday in Mascot at Clear Springs Baptist Cemetary.
