Tuesday is the City of Knoxville Election Day, If You Haven’t Voted, You Should, Just Be Informed

If you live in the City of Knoxville, are a registered voter and were not one of the 2,065 voters that voted during early voting, then Tuesday is your day.

City Councilman at Large Seat A George C. Wallace is unopposed but he deserves your vote.

City Councilman at Large Seat C Finbarr Saunders garnered 2,772 votes in the primary, there were 1,553 votes cast for three other challengers. One of those challengers has endorsed Saunders. Saunders challenger has focused on using negative demonizing rhetoric on Saunders. He never responding to the false information that Joe Sullivan documented he was using about the pension. Instead, using some 15 year old press (almost a decade before Saunders ever sought the first elective office). Saunders may deserve a challenge, but his challenger that squeaked out of the primary is not ready for prime time.

City Councilman Fifth District Incumbent Mark Campen deserves another term, his challenger (much like Saunders challenger) needs to go back and work on a campaign message and offer something greater than she is not Campen.
