So, here this week Betty Bean a stringer writer for Gannett owned Shopper News weekly writes about the 911 committee. A particular funny account is that Mike Arms, former Chief of Staff to County Mayor Mike Ragsdale last October delivered the names of the county appointees to Law Director Bud Armstrong and County Mayor Tim Burchett just followed suit. That is laughable because in 2010, Burchett jingled the keys to Arms county owned vehicle and sold it. Instead, opting to be reimbursed mileage in his stage prop jeep.
I have been told that Harris PR flak Cynthia Moxley called Bud Armstrong if Arms called in the county names, I am told that Armstrong said NO, could it be that Moxley ghost wrote Bean’s column?
Here is where Bean wouldn’t go. The three county appointees never changed their votes. However, the two members that are employees of Mayor Madeline Rogero changed their votes. Those two members are Knoxville Fire Chief Stan Sharp and Knoxville Police Chief David Rausch. Did Rogero tell them to change their votes? Did she threaten them with their jobs?
Of course Bean an avid supporter of Democrats would never see that. Moxley would likely never see that as well as she is a BIG Rogero supporter as well.
