UPDATE: 9:00 a.m., WBIR just reported that FUD has informed them that they have just found the break. It took them 5-6 hours to locate the break. That is unbelievable, how much water was lost?
This morning, about 4:45 a.m., I discovered no water from the faucets. I went outside and saw no problems, the water meter wasn’t turning. I checked the First Utility website, an emergency/after hours phone number 865-966-9021 was listed, no answer, a couple of times it appeared it was answered and hung up. Then a call to 865-966-9741 selecting option 2 and a young girls voice comes on with “can’t take your call, leave a message” After 45 minutes of repeated calls and after having texted a First Utility District Commissioner a man answered and said a water main was broken. I asked where and he said, crews were out looking for it.
