This “ethics complaint” has politics written all over it. So, some God fearing Christian Congressmen have negotiated a good apartment lease and some “watchdog” group waits till one of the Congressmen is running for Governor and anothers (Shular – NC) political party is under attack, rightfully so. In reading this story today, I am reminded of the scripture from Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Being a Christ follower brings good things and subjects you to trials and tribulations. Hang in there, Zach. God is on your side.
