Several years ago, when social media was all the rage, several individuals and I set up a KnoxTweetLunch where many of us would meet over a dutch treat lunch to meet the people that we were tweeting with. Several celebrities like Saul Young, Kim Hansard were participants of the group. One of the people I met was Kim Bailey, she loved the Carter community (where I came from) and imagine my surprise when I looked up and she has recently reengaged in the blogging community, here.
In any “volunteer” organization that works with youth sports, schools, scouting there are opportunities for the leaders to become complacent, set in their ways and unwilling to answer to their customer base. What Kim is doing is examining an organization and will reveal what she and others find. Whatever is found, the good, the bad and the ugly will be revealed and I am sure Kim will report it.

It is not easy work keeping content flowing everyday for nearly 12 years to sustain readers, advertisers like we do here. So when I see an acquaintance get engaged in turning the light on for the community to see what lurks in the shadows, I want to encourage that effort and will share with you and link to what ever they find up there in Carter, whether it is good, bad or ugly.
