Scott P. Williams, Candidate for State Senate District Two is picking up endorsements.
First, from Citizens for Home Rule – Political Action Committee (CHR-PAC)
The political action committee of the property rights advocacy group, Citizens for Home Rule PAC, announced today its endorsement of Scott Williams for state Senate in District 2, Blount and most of Sevier counties.
“Scott Williams believes, as we believe, that the rights of private property owners are one of the cornerstones of the foundation of our State and nation, and must be protected. Unfortunately, the long-time incumbent in the race has proven time and time again that he is hostile to private property owners rights. We urge the voters in Blount and Sevier counties to reject Nashville Insiders and send Scott Williams to the state Senate,” said John Avery Emison, treasurer of CHR-PAC.
“The election of Scott Williams will help the fight to restore private property owners rights to the citizens when the Tennessee General Assembly convenes next January,” Emison said.
Second, former State Senator Dr. Raymond Finney. “It is my pleasure to announce my endorsement of Scott Williams for State Senate District 2. Scott has the right no nonsense leadership quality that the 2nd district has recently been lacking. I ask everyone to join me and support Scott’s campaign now before the start of early voting.”
Third, Williams has been endorsed by TFA Tennessee Firearms Asssociation.
Williams is challenging the current incumbent who has been an elected official since 1982. YES, 1982, however, as you can see Williams is the Conservative candidate to represent Blount and parts of Sevier County in the State Senate. The Republican Primary Election is August 4, 2016. Early Voting is July 15-30, 2016.
