On the Tenth Day Before Ballard Leaves, We Get GPS Devices We Don’t Need

On the ninth day before Ballard leaves Knox County Property Assessor, we citizens get GPS devices on the Assessor cars that we do not need. GPS devices that I have been told were purchased and installed after the March 1, 2016 Republican Primary. GPS Devices that the Property Assessor Elect is not required to keep.

John R Whitehead, our new Property Assessor on September 1, 2016 can do something similar to the current Knox County Mayor when in September 2010, he dangled two sets of car keys to two Knox County vehicles and sold them a few weeks later. With that precedent, Whitehead can disconnect the GPS devices, have them removed and sell them on eBay returning the dollars back to the citizens of Knox County, through the Knox County General Fund. Just like the current Knox County Mayor administration did.
