August 24, 2016, Knoxville, TN — Lou Moran III, President of Inter-Agency Insurance Service in Knoxville, has been appointed to the InsurPac National Board of Trustees of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA).  Moran is the current IIABA National Director for Tennessee and is a former Insurors of Tennessee President.  InsurPac is THE federal political action committee for independent insurance agents and brokers.  It is the largest property-casualty agent PAC in the nation.  It represents the unified political voice of the 23,000 member agencies and 300,000 agents and brokers of the IIABA.  In making disbursements of the voluntary agent donations, InsurPac does not look at party affiliation; rather, it supports those officials who have been advocates and supporters of the independent agency system.  As a result, the IIABA and InsurPac have an impressive bipartisan track record in Congress
