Below is the July 13, 2008 financial disclosure statement of former Black Wednesday appointed Commissioner Jack Huddleston. He raised and spent money but never filed for and never ran for Commissioner. The financial disclosure is signed by Huddleston, his treasurer Tim Brown and each signature is witnessed by two separate individuals. The dates of the signatures are 7-13-08. However, the financial disclosure was not accepted and filed with the Knox County Election Commission until February 32, 2009. Now, we know there were only 28 days in February 2009. So, it is likely that Huddleston turned in his form on February 2, 3, 12 or 22 and a minor glitch in the stamp recorded it as the 32. We are confident that the staff of the Election Commission got the month and year correct. Because after all, Huddleston couldn’t have filed a 7-13-2008 filing in February 2008. So, Huddleston is in violation of the financial disclosure law and should be fined appropriately.
