Oak Ridge, TN – October 19, 2016 – On Thursday October 6, Tennessee Speaker of the House Beth Harwell attended a lunch event at the Oak Ridge Country Club to endorse the re-election of District 32 State Representative Kent Calfee.
Speaker Harwell in talking about Rep. Calfee’s service, “Kent is a strong partner in the legislature, he always has my ear and because of his vast experience is a great source of information for issues that the legislature considers.” In talking about Calfee’s bid for re-election, Harwell said, “if Kent is not returned to the legislature it would be a step in the wrong direction” “With Kent as State Representative Roane and Loudon Counties have the strongest, most powerful voice they’ve ever had.”
Calfee is the Republican candidate for the TN State House seat that he was first elected to serve in 2012. Early Voting begins on October 19 and runs through November 3, 2016 with Election Day on November 8, 2016.
