BrianHornback.Com was unable to attend the press conference of R. Larry Smith. However, Smith was responsive to inform us what position he would be seeking in 2018. One of our sources sent us two screenshots of former radio talk show host Hubert Smith‘s Facebook page. It appears Knox County Commission Chairman David Wright and longtime Republican State Rep. Bill Dunn are lending their early endorsement to a Smith candidacy.

Wright raised such few dollars this year and Dunn hasn’t been challenged in years. With Wright’s support that means the irrelevant weekly newspaper publisher is backing Smith again and after he said he wouldn’t support Smith agAin. Wonder where Phil Ballard, Jim Weaver and Steve Ridenour are? I hope the Property Assessor is looking at the Smith and Ridenour under appraised/assessed properties for correction.
That’s is just sad to see two upstanding people from my district willing to support Smith. It’s time to find someone to replace them also. We finally got rid of Smith, we will keep him off commission. We have had enough, the 8th district wants no part of Smith.
