The other Saturday morning, I was driving west on Kingston Pike near Walker Springs Road. I get stopped by City of Knoxville crew painting one stripe. How many City of Knoxville employees does it take to paint one stripe? FIVE. With the Knoxville Mayor as Governor can you imagine how many more employees and the cost for weekend work on our highways and byways. With this type of service department our state and our wallets as taxpayers can’t afford Bill Haslam as Governor.
