KNOXVILLE, TENN, September 13 – Wayne Christensen, candidate for Knoxville City Council, 2nd District, who will now face Andrew Roberto in a city-wide general election released a tv ad that asks voters of the city to call his wife, who knows him the best, and tell them their issues that Wayne should focus on.
“I’ve watched him work tirelessly on this campaign to do what is right for all the people of this city,” Sara Christensen said, “and now I want the voters to contact me to ask me what kind of person he is.”
Christensen worked for Knox Youth Sports for 20 years in Knoxville, as well as served in the Navy, and has made helping every district a central platform of his campaign.
“My campaign is not about just the 2nd District,” said Christensen, “We have to work to make sure our whole community is taken care of so that the City of Knoxville can progress toward the future, with inclusiveness, economic prosperity, and workforce opportunities.”
