In the wake of her husband’s abrupt and unexpected death, Jene’ Ray Barranco was suddenly forced to grapple with being a single mother to three grieving teenagers while feeling a deafening silence at the center of her relationship with God. To cope with her intense heartache, she began writing on a daily basest create purpose from her pain. Good Night, I Love You compiles those thoughts and explores with raw and honest prose the authors journey as a widow and shares what she has learned about grief, marriage, parenting, faith, living a meaningful life, and utter dependance on God.
Barranco is a motivational speaker to Christian and secular groups, churches, and women’s conferences, and a founder of a ministry to single moms. The mother of three children, she resides in jackson, Mississippi and currently blogs here and here.
