Several weeks ago, BrianHornback.Com reported about Knox County Schools placing Don Lawson on leave without pay and Knox County Commissioner Evelyn Gill on leave with pay. After I reported it, all the television stations and the Knoxville News Sentinel then reported it. Today here the Knoxville News Sentinel reported about the personnel file held at Commissioner Gill’s assigned school.
As a public school employee and an elected official, Ms. Gill is open to public exposure. As a public school employee Mr. Lawson is open to public exposure. Mr. Lawson was placed on leave in July 2017, it was not until here on September 7, 2017 that I was able to get the schools to confirm the leaves. The first request for confirmation to the schools from BrianHornback.Com to the schools was on September 5, 2017.
