Glenn Jacobs appeared WWE Raw on Monday night in Portland, OR. Jacobs took a red eye home, worked all day Tuesday and knocked on doors Tuesday night in the Ball Camp community. Worked all day Wednesday and knocked on doors in Halls that evening.
Jacobs is not afraid of hard work. It’s what made him who he is and it’s a trait that he will bring to the Mayor’s office because the citizens of Knox County deserve the best from their elected officials
So I asked Jacobs, How do you respond to criticisms about going back to work for WWE?
“First, I’ve always been under contract and have to fulfill contractual obligations when called upon. Aside from WWE, I work every day as a small business owner here in Knox County. I honestly feel that criticisms about me working shows a disconnect from the political class to the common working folks. I know many people who are working 80 hours per week or more so that they can support their families. The idea that someone can’t hold down a full-time job and run for political office is a slap in their face.”
