The Wife and I see movies on a decently regular basis. We see Tyler Perry releases on opening weekend, we see Star Wars releases on opening weekend.
About 15 years ago in seeing the theater production of Chicago, I said for many years that was my favorite movie. No movie has changed that UNTIL last night.
We went to Regal Pinnacle in Turkey Creek in Knoxvile and saw The Greatest Showman….the story of P.T. Barnum. Barnum’s story is remarkable, his vision was astounding, how he brought people together to entertain the masses, how he used criticism and controversy to succeed. How his ultimate desire to be accepted got him off course, but he was able to redeem himself with a couple second chances.
Now, there will be people that disagree with me on the movie and the story. But this is my website, blog and my opinion. But The Greatest Showman should take some awards, in my opinion. I will see it again.
