Today, I welcome Lenoir City Mayor Tony Aikens in his August 2, 2018 Republican bid for State Representative District 21. The district covers parts of Loudon and Monroe Counties. The current State Representative Jimmy Matlock is seeking the United States House of Representatives TN Second Congressional District position and is not running for re-election.
Aikens is an accomplished businessman and a public servant. Aikens has served in the Loudon County Sheriffs Department as Chief Deputy before becoming Lenoir City Mayor.
