Another Ethics Complaint Filed Yesterday

An Ethics complaint was filed yesterday on Commissioner and Republican candidate for Knox County Mayor Brad Anders.

The ethics complaint on Commissioners Charles Busler and Bob Thomas that the Ethics Committee will hear this Friday took the Investigator of the Knox County Law Director five (5) months to complete his review.

Surely the law director will review this ethics complaint in the same manner as the other one.

These battling ethics complaints emphasis one thing, Glenn Jacobs is the one candidate that has been successful in business and not in partisan petty politics. Jacobs does support charitable causes like Children’s Hospital and many others and that he doesn’t play in charitable golf tournaments.

I’ve always found it troubling that Mr. Anders is employed by the City and also draws a paycheck as a county commissioner. I don’t feel we need someone who has been paid by public monies his entire career. He has not impressed me by his comments on increasing taxes either. I’m not sure which of the other two candidates to support but Mr. Anders comes across to me as the type who would have no issue taking more of my money in the form of a tax increase. The county doesn’t need its own version of Ms Rogero.
