What Will Happen to South Knox the Next Two Years?

Original May 2, 2018 9:41 pm South Knox County Commissioner Carson Dailey sent a letter endorsing the Mayoral candidate that finished third. In addition, he endorsed the School Board Incumbent who On September 1 will be a one term former School Board Member.

So, the next County Mayor (Glenn Jacobs) will have to work with a Commissioner that did not believe he was qualified to be Mayor. In addition, he will have to work with a County Commissioner (Brad Anders) for the last two years of his term that he also believe was not qualified to be Mayor.

In addition, he will potentially have a strained relationship with the new School Board Member (Kristi Kristy) who he did not support and wished to not work with.

Dailey’s desire to be politically persuasive of, to and for the citizens he was elected to serve has the potential to harm the ability of the community he hoped to serve, if Kristy, Jacobs, Anders and Biggs were to lower themselves to Dailey ‘s political pettiness.
