Are you at least 18 years of age and live in Knox County’s Eighth Commission District (that’s East Knox County) Well, if’n you do Knox County Commission is hiring a Commissioner for your area.
They would like for you to submit your Resume by 12/3/2018 at NOON to their office. Then they want you to come and talk about why you are the best one for the job on 12/5/2018 beginning at 2:00 pm then they’s gonna Hire one of you’ns at 2:30 pm or immediately after they’ve heard from all you’ns.
It pays about $26,000 a year, comes with benefits and you get to talk to a lot of people that call you, attend a few meetings a month and one meeting where you get to vote on stuff (unless you’re like the 7th District guy and get mad and run out)
Anyway, they is already a line. Here is who is in line so far. Richie Beeler, Phil Ballard, Rebecca Longmire, Terry Wilshire, David McCroskey, Michelle Westover, Krystal Gibson, Laura Cole and I am sure a plethora of others. Go ahead jump in it is a heated pool (or people are peeing in it) so the water is warm
Don’t get too comfortable if you get it though, Kim Bailey is planning to seek the voters vote in 2020.
I want to apply for the 7th district, our “commissioner” won’t stay long enough to vote.

Who cares about your sworn duty, or even the perception you’re doing your job for anything other than being puppeted. I mean, that’s why people get elected right? It’s such a joke. When a person lacks the ability to serve properly, they owe it to themselves and their community to step aside.
