Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs hosted his first Community Constituent Meeting in Powell back on November 28, 2019, read our coverage from that meeting here. They filled the Powell library with Hallsdale Powell Utility ratepayers irate over the water and sewer rates they pay. Mayor Jacobs promised a meeting with HPUD and the community. Last night at the Brickey McCloud Elementary School it happened.
Over 400 people showed up and Mayor Jacobs explained that HPUD would make a 30 minute presentation and then he would ask any questions that were written on index cards provided to the audience by the Mayor’s Office.
I did not record the HPUD presentation, however the Mayor’s Office live streamed it. I did record the Q&A session. It is below in two youtube videos.
