South Knox County – Thank YOU, Two Nights in a Row

From last Monday when I first posted about the meetings in South Knox County, you people in South Knox showed up and stood up. You make me proud to do what I do.

Last night I personally attended the one at SoKno Market. A Huge crowd to hear the the plans for the Ancient Lore Resort.

Unlike the main stream media or other news websites, I take you into the meeting with 95% of the meeting captured on video. Watch them below.

But first some personal observations from last night.

1) I only saw current County Commissioner Carson Dailey. The others that attended Monday night were no shows last night.

2) one of the “ring leader” opponents wanted to know why this meeting was so peaceful and quiet. My belief is that Matthew Cross actually understood how to conduct a meeting and hear from everyone equally.

3) I suggested last Monday in my first post having the meeting in a school auditorium, not at Ye Olde Steak House or smaller venues. Last night, someone else suggested it and that will happen with future meetings.

4) the opponents are so disrespectful and refuse to listen. One of the opponents told someone “you will not be able to afford to stay there” thankfully the lady replied back “I will make that decision for myself”

It seems to me that the opponents are likely the ones that opposed the Governors Crossing development. The development that brought Lowe’s, Food City, Gondolier, ChickfilA, McDonalds, a couple banks, a car wash and a Sonic. Now. Across Chapman Highway a Freddy’s and a Salsaritas along with several other shops have just opened and a Starbucks has just opened or is days away from opening. But it’s as if they are trying to protect old businesses and fear competition, that is just my thought, it’s worth what you paid for it.

Now, here is some pictures and then the videos.
