This week the Knox County Commission heard from TDOT, Knox County Emergency Rescue Squad, Wendy Corcoran, several stakeholders and users of Chapman Highway.
All of this was Thank in large part to Commissioner Justin Biggs.
The key is that Chapman Highway has NEVER been safe. But, in fact it is getting more dangerous and with all the development just on the South side of the Henley Street bridge it’s going to be a game of Russian Roulette.
When the James White Parkway was first discussed and endorsed in the early 2000’s it was the right decision and today it is still the right decision, in spite of the City of Knoxville’s attempts to block it.
The Knoxville Region transportation planning organization has a survey here.
As always, we take you into the meeting with unedited videos.
Great work Brian.
Thank you
