We are proud to welcome Lynne Fugate for Knoxville City Council at Large Seat A Campaign for the November 5, 2019 Knoxville General Election. Early Voting is October 16 – 31, 2019.
Fugate has served on the Knox County School Board representing Knox County Fourth School Board district. She served as Chair of the School Board during part of her term. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians. She has lead the Nine Counties, One Vision effort, she has also been an Officer in the banking industry.
From Fugate’s Facebook page. Knoxville is a wonderful city and our future is bright! To make the most of the opportunities we have before us we must work together to create the city we want. A city with good jobs, a strong, vibrant economy, parks and greenways, safe neighborhoods, affordable housing, and excellent schools in every community all to make a thriving Knoxville.
City government has a role in making all of this happen, but at the same time we must unite and work with all of our citizens to make it a reality. I commit to you that I will listen to and learn from all the stakeholders in our community as we continue to move Knoxville forward. I have a track record of thoughtful, level headed decision making on the Knox County Board of Education. It would be my honor to serve the people of Knoxville in a similar way on City Council. I would appreciate your vote and support.
