Knox County has three vacancies on the Knox County Ethics Committee. County Commission gets two appointments and the Knox County Sheriff gets one.

Elizabeth L. Sherrod, CFE, LPI, LAPPS, AHFI-Retired. Since 2013 she is President of Sherrod Investigative Group. From 1990 until 2/15/2013 she worked in the office of TVA Office of Inspector General.
John R. Hardwig has a BA from Yale and a PhD from University of Texas at Austin. Has worked at several Universities including Wellesley, UT Knoxville having served as the Head of the Department of Philosophy from 2000-2010. Served on the Mountain Home Veterans Administrative Ethics Committee from 1990-2000. Consultant Johnson City Medical Center Ethics Committee from 1985-2000. Currently serves on the Ethics Committee of the University of Tennessee Medical Center and is a Rule 21 Mediator at the Community Mediation Center.
Nancy Elizabeth McBee Currently the Business Development Manager of Trans Energy Services from 2004-Current. Has a BS in Industrial Engineering from UT Knoxville.
Perry Beal, a Professional Pilot with Education from the College of the Canyons.
Jason Johansen a Masters In Exegetical Theology and a Masterson In Theology from Western Seminary Portland, Oregon. He serves as one of the Pastors at Grace and Peace Church.
Tanya Thomas-Coats has a BA in English from University of Tennessee and MS in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and an EdS in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.
Cory Johnson works at Elavon as an Incident Manager and has worked as a Fraud Investigator IV and Project Manager there. Studied Philosophy at University of Tennessee Knoxville.
The main requirement is that you and your family can not be employed by Knox County. Ms. McBee has been a vendor of Knox County in the past with the energy management program.
