Where was the Sunshine?

Thank you to the Knox County Parks and Recreation for shining the light, where there apparently was no County Commission sunshine.

You see Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs and the Knox County Parks and Recreation had informed the community and media that they were turning the holiday lights on at the Cove at Concord Park on Monday December 2, 2019.

BUT, there were no notice from the Knox County Commissioners that more than one may attend, that is the pesky TN State Law and a Knox County Chancery Court order that the Commissioners must follow. BUT, lo and behold the Parks and Rec team capture the Cove at Concord Park district Commissioner John Schoonmaker AND Commissioner Larsen Jay together at the ribbon cutting.

As an “internet blogger” I understand it was at night, but where o’ where was the open and transparent sunshine shining last night. It was not at The Cove on Concord Park. Was it?
