Tonight the Halls Republican Club elected Bob Crye, President and Buddy Burkhardt, Vice President and Janis Crye as Secretary.
Burkhardt bested former Knox County black Wednesday Commissioner Robert Lawrence Smith.
Criminal Court Judge Scott Greene administered the oath of office to the new officers.
