Please join the Girls Inc. of Tennessee Valley Board of Directors in welcoming Kirby Deal and Alanna Kosier to their new leadership roles.
After a nationwide search, we are pleased to announce that Kirby has accepted the title of Executive Director and Alanna the role of Vice President of Programs and Operations. Kirby and Alanna have served as valuable management team members who played key roles in helping Girls Inc. of Tennessee Valley earn the Girls Inc. National Outstanding Affiliate of the year award in the budget category in 2018 and 2019. The extensive knowledge that both women possess and their commitment to the Girls Inc. mission, vision, and values will allow for a nearly seamless transition as we continue to strength- en GITNV and position the organization for continued development.
Kirby will capitalize on her four-year experience as Development Director and expand her impact as a presence in the community. Kirby’s role will focus on three main initia- tives: finance, board development, and fundraising.We are thrilled that she will continue to cultivate relationships, increase GITNV’s funding, and amplify our mission.
Alanna’s twelve-year tenure and recent role as Director of Programming poises her to give programs and staff at all sites the oversight and support required to help girls flour- ish. She will facilitate all necessary responsibilities of programs, new program develop- ment, program needs and supplies, memberships and personnel. We are fortunate to have her continue to manage day-to-day operations and augment GITNV’s solid base.
This transition provides inspired leadership to a capable team that is dedicated to ensur- ing Girls Inc. of Tennessee Valley moves into the future with the management and re- sources it needs to continue to inspire girls in our community to be Strong, Smart, and Bold.
