This would have been the September before Gloria Johnson beat Rep. Eddie Smith, before Governor Bill Lee defeated Karl Dean and Senator Marsha Blackburn defeated Prince Phillip Bredesen of Nashville.
Fast forward to March 3, 2020 “Republican” Mannis cast a vote in the Democrat Presidential Primary on February 25.
Now, DEMOCRAT Mannis is a “Republican” candidate for TN State House District 18 opposing TRUE REPUBLICAN Realtor and Cedar Bluff Community Activist Gina Oster.
Mannis endorsed Karl Dean over Bill Lee on his Facebook page after attending a fundraiser at Former Democrat State Rep. Wayne Ritchie’s House.
