Good Afternoon HAWKS!!!
Congratulations on getting through COVID and getting to Graduation. Attached is a PDF with details about our ceremony held on Monday.
I am aware that a group of students is planning a peaceful protest as part of the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement in our country. They will be kneeling during the National Anthem. I want everyone to be aware of this event beforehand so it goes smoothly. A student will also be addressing the topic prior to a moment of silence. We at Hardin Valley Academy support our students in this protest.
We are providing all graduates with a bottle of water and an HV mask for the ceremony. As students gather before the ceremony, we are asking them to wear masks out of respect for students with compromised immune systems. They can remove the mask once they enter the stadium if they so choose.

We have not received our diplomas and diploma covers yet. The printing factory was shut down for several week due to COVID. Once we get these items at school, we will set up distribution dates and times.
