Paper and Pen ballots and you people went crazy. I always highlight a sampling of write-ins NOT every write-in or blank space is reported here. Now with the new voting system, we get the scan of what you actually wrote in. Some of y’all need hand writing lessons. Here is a sample what I see.

Knox County Commission District One Dr. Dasha Lundy bested Reginald Jackson. But it did not stop 40 write-in/blank space votes.

Knox County Commission District Two – Democrat Courtney Durett secured a second Democrat County Commission seat by beating former Knox County bureaucrat Grant Rosenberg. That did not stop 19 write in votes, 2 pages.

Knox County Commission Fourth District – Kyle Ward out performed TODD Frommeyer. Only 7 write-in votes.
All 7 are; Austin Farley, (blank) got 2, TODD Frommeyer, Peggy D. Merritt, Bugs Bunny and Scott Broyles.
Knox County Commission District Five John Schoonmaker was re-elected over Kimberly Peterson. That did not keep 14 write in votes.

In the Knox County Commission District Six, School Board Member Terry Hill was unopposed in replacing Commissioner Brad Anders. Anders was term limited after having served a decade (lol) on County Commission.
When someone is unopposed or a race is not close, the creative juices flow and write-KNS abound. So 18 pages and 232 write-in votes later.

Knox County Commission Eighth District Richie Beeler was unopposed after being appointed by County Commission and serving the unexpired term of former Commissioner Dave Wright. There were 12 pages or 151 write in votes.

Knox County Commission – Ninth District. Carson Dailey was re-elected to his final term without opposition. That did not stop 22 pages of write-ins, the most Write-ins for a Commission Seat.
