Paper and Pen ballots and you people went crazy. I always highlight a sampling of write-ins NOT every write-in or blank space is reported here. Now with the new voting system, we get the scan of what you actually wrote in. Some of y’all need hand writing lessons. Here is a sample what I see.

On Thursday August 6, 2020 in TN State House District 13, Democrat State Rep. Gloria Johnson was unopposed to become the Democrat nominee for TN State House District 13. Johnson will face Republican Elaine Davis (who was also unopposed on 8/6) on November 3, 2020, Early Voting October 14-29.
There were 38 Democrat write-in votes on 3 pages. A sampling of the 38 votes are; Harry Tindell, Matthew Park, Chyna Brackeen, Elaine Davis, Rick Staples, Charles Al-Bawi and Eddie Smith.
There were 45 Republican write-in votes on a 4 page file. a sampling of the 45 votes are; Bob Yarbrough, Gloria Johnson, Brandon Bruce, Chuck Ward, Steve Hall, Ed Manis and Tom Petty.
In TN State House District 14, Democrat Justin Davis was unopposed in the August 6, 2020 Democrat Primary and Republican State Rep. Jason Zachary was unopposed in the Republican primary. It does NOT stop write-ins. Davis and Zachary will face off on November 3, Early Voting October 14-29.
There were 45 Democrat write-in votes on 4 page file. A sampling of the 45 votes are; someone not racist please, Elmer Fudd, Mickey Mouse, Todd Frommeyer, Robin Hood and John Smith.
There were 116 Republican write-in votes. A sampling of the 116 votes are; Anybody, Paul Sandifer, Gosh, Bill Johns, Stacy Campfield, Lou Moran III got 2 votes, Zane Duncan, Brian Hornback got 2 votes, Justin Davis got 8 votes, Ron Rochelle, Donald Dodgen, Ken Chipley, John Duncan III, Mickey Mouse, anyone else, Glenn Jacobs, Mike Mitchell, Brent Watts, Ron Williams, Black Lives Matter.
On Thursday August 6, 2020 in TN State House District 15, Democrat Sam McKenzie barley bested Matthew Park and State Rep. Rick Staples to become the Democrat nominee for TN State House District 15. McKenzie will face Independent Troy B. Jones on November 3, 2020, Early Voting October 14-29.
There were 12 Democrat write-in votes. A sampling of the 12 votes are; Ellis, Matthew Park, Chyna Brackeen, Troy Jones, Ray Trotta and Evelyn Gill.
There were 184 Republican write-in votes among a 15 page file. a Sampling of the 184 votes are; Josh Gapp, Michele Carringer, Jimi Hendrix, Troy B. Jones, Jr., Matthew Park, Stacy Campfield, Gerald Witt, Charlie Brown, Donald Duck, Jawan Jennings, John Doe, Michael Covington, Donald Trump, Trump, Cas Walker, Bill Hagerty, Jason Zachary, ME.
On Thursday August 6, 2020 in TN State House District 16, Democrat Elizabeth Rowland was unopposed to become the Democrat nominee. She will face Republican Michele Carringer (who bested Patti Bounds in the Republican Primary on 8/6) on November 3, 2020, Early Voting October 14-29.

On Thursday August 6, 2020 in TN State House District 18, Democrat Virginia Couch was unopposed to become the Democrat nominee. She will face Republican Gina Oster’s Former Opponent (who bested Oster in the Republican Primary on 8/6) on November 3, 2020, Early Voting October 14-29.
There were 51 Democrat write-in votes. A sampling of those 51 write-in votes are; Matthew Park, Dustin Durham, Charles Lomax, Gina Oster, Goliath Orr, Bryan Langa, Virginia Wolf and Keith Urban.
There were 10 Republican write-in votes. Those 10 votes were; blank got 2 none written markings, Liz Anderson, James Corcoran, Thomas Dicks, Manny Sethi, Steve Rogers, Virginia Couch, James C. Ingram III and Gloria Johnson.
On Thursday August 6, 2020 in TN State House District 19 there was no Democrat candidate. Republican State Rep. Dave Wright was unopposed in the Republican Primary and will be unopposed on November 3, 2020, Early Voting October 14-29.

On Thursday August 6, 2020 in TN State House District 89 there was no Democrat candidate. Republican State Rep. Justin Lafferty was unopposed in the Republican Primary and will face Independent Greg Mills on November 3, 2020, Early Voting October 14-29.
There were 385 Democrat write-in votes.
