Tonight, the Center City Conservatives Republican Club met. State Representative David Wright spoke, he talked about the August Special Session where 5 bills were passed.
State Rep. Gloria Johnson, a Democrat member of the Knox County Delegation only voted for one bill, the Tele-health bill. The Corona liability bill. The funding bill, the camping on state grounds and a bill to protect fire fighters from being impeded from their duties. Johnson voted no according to Wright.
Former Knox County Commissioner Elaine Davis is challenging Johnson didn’t really have to say anything after Wright spoke on her behalf. But she was there and the support was evident.
