Knox County Commission selected Larsen Jay as Chairman and John Schoonmaker as Vice Chairman.
Interesting turn of events, I have received a copy of a hand written letter from Jay to the four County Commissioners that are new and went through the two day orientation.
The cost of the orientation I am told was paid with Knox County taxpayer dollars from the Knox County Commission office line item. Additionally it could be considered that the use of the letterhead is a use of someones title and position and the letterhead itself is paid for by the taxpayers.
New County Commissioners Dr. Dasha Lundy and Courtney Durrett voted for Jay. Kyle Ward and Terry Hill voted for Commissioner Randy Smith. So it was a 50/50 split of the newbies.
