Yesterday. Knox County Commissioners Kyle Ward & Courtney Durrett met for lunch, it was sun-shined (an advance meeting notice to all media representatives).
They both are new to Commission, having taken office on September 1. They were elected in the Knox County August General Election.

It was refreshing to see two people of different political parties, one serving an urban district, the other serving a suburban district sit down to get to know one another.
