Last evening the Knox County Young Republicans met at the Greene Hill Grill. Matthew (Matt) Jones spoke about his candidacy for County Commission Sixth District Seat A. The current Commissioner is Juvenile Court Clerk employee Sharon Cawood.
Matt talked about his background, his employment as a probation officer with Knox County Juvenile Court. He is married and a father to two young children. His interest is to continue helping young people by serving on the County Commission.
Matt’s motives for running for County Commission are good and he deserves the vote and support of the citizens in the Sixth District.
Matt recently generated some positive news in this weeks Fountain City Focus. The Fountain City Focus is an excellent community newspaper that reports on many different stories within Knox County.
