The TN Democrat Party Executive Committee met virtually. After a reconnect, they finally restarted the vote for a new chair, replacing Mary Mancini. (who selected to retire)

In my humble opinion, had the Executive Committee selected Holly McCall or Christopher Holly two years ago. The new regime wouldn’t be starting out in a deep dark cave.
Hendrell Remus, candidate for TN Democrat Party Chair
The first vote had 7 candidates, 4 receiving votes, it was close between Wade Munday 30 and Hendrell Remus 24 with Kate Clark receiving 9 and Robin Kimbrough-Hayes with 5. Clark and Kimbrough-Hayes withdrew and endorsed Remus.
Second Vote was 36 for Remus 32 for Munday.
Vice Chair was between Barbara Wagner and Kendra Lee. It wasn’t as close, but less than 10 and Wagner was elected.
Pam Weston of Monroe County was elected by acclamation for Secretary.
Carol Abney was elected Treasurer
