Brian’s Blog will be posting throughout the evening about Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale and the Knox County State of the Community address held today. However, there will be a short delay as it is necessary to reduce the size of plant life on the property of Brian’s Blog (known as mowing the yard, in great community places like Vestal, Tuckahoe and Bluegrass)
There were three County Commissioners that did not attend the State of the Community address. The ever liberal Second District Commissioner Mark Harmon, the wife of former Commissioner and current Knox County Bailiff Mark Cawood. She is current Supervisor of Knox County Juvenile Court Clerk the only female of the Commission. Sixth District Commissioner Sharon Cawood. Also lacking in attendance was recently appointed 9th District Commissioner Tim Greene.
Also missing from the Mayor’s Community address was “I ain’t gonna keep from hiring more employees” Trustee Fred Sisk. However, several Trustee employees attended the State of the Community.
